| The Iron Solution For Turf |
| LIG-IRON |
| Iron deficiency is
common on sandy alkaline soils, especially those with
limestone near the surface, and this is why it is often
called ‘lime induced chlorosis’. Most turf is grown on
nutrient deficient sand that is unable to hold or supply
sufficient nutrients for optimum growth and this is further
compounded by the small turf root system. Therefore foliar
application of nutrients is essential for the growth and
quality of turf. When addressing iron deficiency problems
it is of paramount importance that chelated iron is used,
as the effectiveness and availability of non-chelated
forms (eg. iron sulphate) is limited. Iron will improve
photosynthesis and growth, root development and produce
turf with better disease tolerance and deeper green colour. |
| THE ADVANTAGES OF
LIG-IRON |
|
- high plant availability through leaf or soil
- rapid leaf uptake & utilization
- chelated iron is very safe
- improves photosynthesis, root development & turf colour
- compatible with LIG-ZINC + MANGANESE
- easily translocated throughout the fine root system of turf
- superior binding properties prevents leaching on sand
- compatible with fungicides & insecticides
- cost effective Australian made product
|
| APPLICATION |
| Turf - spray @ 5 L/Ha
(500 mL/1000 sq m) whenever required during growth. |

| The Trace Element Solution
For Turf |
| LIG-BALANCE |
| Maintaining adequate
levels of all essential nutrients is important because
healthy plants have a greater disease tolerance and cope
much better with adverse growing conditions that can significantly
reduce growth and quality. The broad range of elements
in LIG-BALANCE is ideal for producing quality turf that
is less susceptible to fungal disease. As turf is usually
grown on nutrient poor sands, deficiencies are common
and can often be induced by: moisture stress; the correction
of one or more deficient nutrients; increases in plant
available nitrogen; rapid growth; and optimum levels of
major (N, P, K) and secondary (S, Mg) nutrients |
| THE ADVANTAGES OF
LIG-BALANCE |
|
- high plant availability through leaf & soil
- rapid uptake & plant utilization
- supplies essential trace elements plus sulphur & magnesium
- maximizes photosynthesis & plant growth
- improves colour & quality
- binding properties prevents leaching
- compatible with fungicides & insecticides
- Australian made product
|
| APPLICATION |
| Turf - spray @ 2 L/Ha
(200 mL/1000 sq m) on a regular basis during growth |
