| The Calcium Solution For
Stone Fruit Crops |
| LIG-CALCIUM + BORON |
| High levels of calcium
are essential for the quality of fleshy fruit such as
peaches, nectarines and apricots. Domestic and export
markets demand a quality product, and high levels of calcium
and boron in stone fruit will produce a firmer, better
looking product with superior storage characteristics.
Boron prevents stone splitting and along with calcium
increases the disease resistance of stone fruit. |
| THE ADVANTAGES OF
LIG-CALCIUM + BORON |
|
- high plant availability of calcium & boron
- rapid leaf & fruit uptake & plant utilization
- chelated boron ensures no burning or marking
- inclusion of boron improves calcium uptake & movement
- better fruit firmness and storage life
- superior binding properties
- better fruit colour & quality
- contains no chloride & low levels of nitrogen
- compatible with fungicides & insecticides
- Australian made
|
| APPLICATION |
| Stone Fruit - 3-6 sprays
@ 5 L/Ha or 15-30 L/season commencing with first cover
spray after petal fall and repeat every 14 days. The number
of sprays will depend upon variety and seasonal conditions. |

| The Iron Solution For Stone
Fruit Crops |
| LIG-IRON |
| Iron deficiency is
common on alkaline soils, especially those with limestone
near the surface, and this is why it is often called 'lime
induced chlorosis'. Waterlogging and heavy rainfall also
tend to induce iron deficiency on alkaline soils. When
addressing iron deficiency problems on alkaline soils
it is of paramount importance that chelated iron is used,
as non-chelated forms (eg. iron sulphate) are ineffective
because they quickly become locked-up and unavailable
for plant use. Photosynthesis, shoot growth and root development
are significantly reduced in iron deficient plants. |
| THE ADVANTAGES OF
LIG-IRON |
|
- high plant availability through leaf or dripper
- rapid leaf uptake & utilization
- chelated iron is very safe & will not burn or mark fruit
- enhances photosynthesis and shoot growth
- compatible with LIG-ZINC + MANGANESE
- superior binding properties improves fungicide efficiency
- compatible with fungicides & insecticides
- Australian made product
|
| APPLICATION |
| Stone Fruit - 2-3 sprays
@ 2 L/Ha. First application with first cover spray after
petal fall and repeat every 2-3 weeks or as required.
Through fertigation apply 2 L/Ha prior to flowering and
2-5 L/Ha after petal fall. |

| The Magnesium For Stone
Fruit Crops |
| LIG-MAGNESIUM |
| Magnesium is essential
for photosynthesis, sugar production, skin colour and
drought tolerance in stone fruit. Magnesium deficiency
is most common on acidic and sandy soils and its uptake
is reduced by high levels of soil ammonium, calcium and
potassium. Deficiency symptoms appear first in the older
leaves as a bright yellow chlorosis beginning at the top
of the leaf and often in a 'V' shape. Spray seed or herbicide
damage is often mistaken for magnesium deficiency. Magnesium
like potassium is also quickly absorbed and translocated
by the leaves and therefore foliar application is very
effective for correcting deficiencies. |
| THE ADVANTAGES OF
LIG-MAGNESIUM |
|
- high plant availability through leaf
- rapid uptake & plant utilization
- better skin colour
- maximizes photosynthesis & sugar production
- improves quality & yield of stone fruit
- small particle size & binder improves canopy penetration
- compatible with fungicides & insecticides
- Australian made product
|
| APPLICATION |
| Stone fruit - apply
2 sprays @ 5 L/ha after petal fall. Repeat 2-3 weeks prior
to harvest for enhanced fruit colour. |

| The Potassium Solution For
Stone Fruit |
| LIG-K + BORON |
| Potassium and boron
are required for sugar formation, fruit filling and ripening
in the later stages of fruit development. Potassium is
utilized quicker and more efficiently through the leaves
than via soil application. Therefore there is a real benefit
in using foliar potassium sprays closer to harvest to
improve quality and yields. The inclusion of boron not
only improves the efficiency of potassium sprays but also
increases fruit calcium levels and skin strength. |
| THE ADVANTAGES OF
LIG-K + BORON |
|
- high plant availability of potassium through leaf
- rapid leaf uptake & translocation to developing fruit
- chelated boron is very safe
- increases sugar levels, fruit size and yields
- promotes more even ripening
- binding properties enhance cover spray effectiveness
- improves fruit colour & quality
- compatible with fungicides & insecticides
- Australian made product
|
| APPLICATION |
|
Stone Fruit - 2-3 sprays @ 5 L/Ha. First application
four weeks after flowering and repeat at regular intervals
up until three weeks prior to harvest.

| The Trace Element Solution
For Stone Fruit |
| LIG-BALANCE |
| Maintaining adequate
levels of all essential nutrients is important because
healthy plants have a greater disease tolerance and cope
much better with adverse growing conditions that can significantly
reduce yield and quality. Hidden trace element deficiencies
(no visual symptoms) can reduce yields by 50%. The broad
range of elements in LIG-BALANCE is good insurance against
hidden deficiencies. Deficiencies can often be induced
by: the correction of one or more deficient nutrients;
increases in plant available nitrogen; rapid shoot growth;
and optimum levels of major (N, P, K) and secondary (S,
Mg) nutrients |
| THE ADVANTAGES OF
LIG-BALANCE |
|
- high plant availability through leaf
- rapid uptake & plant utilization
- supplies essential trace elements plus sulphur & magnesium
- maximizes photosynthesis & plant growth
- improves stone fruit quality & yield
- binding properties allows early application
- compatible with fungicides & insecticides
- Australian made product
|
| APPLICATION |
|
Stone Fruit - 2-4 sprays @ 2 L/Ha commencing after
petal fall. To further improve early growth include
Vigor-Lig Plus @ 2 L/Ha.

| The Zinc Solution For Stone
Fruit Crops |
| LIG-ZINC + MANGANESE |
| Zinc is probably the
most limiting trace element in Australian agricultural
production and plays a very important role in plant nutrition.
Zinc is especially important in the early stages of growth
for photosynthesis and flowering, and root development
in young plants. |
| THE ADVANTAGES OF
LIG-ZINC + MANGANESE |
|
- high plant availability through leaf or dripper
- rapid leaf uptake & plant utilization
- chelated zinc ensures no burning or marking
- enhances photosynthesis & early growth of trees
- superior binding properties
- more even fruit set & fruit size
- compatible with LIG-IRON & fungicides & insecticides
- Australian made
|
| APPLICATION |
|
Stone Fruit - 2-4 sprays @ 2 L/Ha commencing with first
cover spray after petal fall and repeat every 10-14
days. Post harvest application for following season
4 L/Ha over leaf or through dripper.
